*Made with Non-Nano Zinc
Non-nano refers to the size of the zinc oxide particles in our sunscreen. Specifically it means the particles are larger than 100 nanometers which prevents them from being absorbed into the bloodstream. This makes non-nano zinc a safer choice for our little ones and is also gentle on our beautiful reefs and oceans.
Apply sunscreen generously and evenly to clean, dry skin at least 20 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours (or more often) and after sweating, swimming or towel drying.
SENSIBLE CAUTIONS
Warning: Prolonged sun exposure should be avoided. It is important to wear protective clothing, hats and eyewear when exposed to the sun. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not apply on broken and or damaged skin. It's always best to test patch when trying a new product. Keep babies out of direct sunlight.
Can I use it on baby under 6 months?
It's generally not recommended to apply any sunscreen to babies under 6 months, regardless of what other brands may suggest. This is because their skin is much thinner, and they should be kept out of direct sunlight. Instead, use protective clothing, hats, and shade to shield them from the sun.
If sun exposure is unavoidable, some paediatricians may recommend using a small amount of a mineral-based, non-nano zinc sunscreen (like Sun & Daughter) on limited areas of the body. Always consult with a healthcare provider before applying sunscreen to a baby under 6 months.
